In the world of The Balance, The Council is the governing body in the capital city, comprised of representatives from both the Nature and Power factions.
However, their authority is corrupted, and they have lost sight of their original purpose of maintaining balance between nature and technology. Instead, they pursue their own self-interests, persecuting anyone who challenges their power.
Radicals who dare to step outside the constructs of society in search of answers to bring the world back into balance are met with harsh punishment. Despite the Council's tyranny, there are those who refuse to be silenced and continue to fight for change. The people are restless, and the Council's reign seems to be reaching a tipping point.
